Marjorie I. Fleck

Marjorie I. Fleck, 82, of Ottawa, Kansas died Monday, July 15, 2013 at Ransom Memorial Hospital. She was born on Friday, April 24, 1931 in rural Franklin County, Kansas, the daughter of Albert Karl and Emma Louise (Lohmann) Dehn. She has been a resident of Ottawa since 1998, moving from California where she resided from 1951 to 1997. Marjorie graduated from Quenemo High School with the class of 1949. She was a bookkeeper for various businesses in California. Marjorie received her pilot’s license and in her spare time enjoyed flying. On January 21, 1951 Marjorie was united in marriage with Theodore Allen Fleck, Jr. in Quenemo, Kansas. He preceded her in death on July 11, 1992. She is survived by her: Sister-in-law Clarene Dehn of Topeka, Kansas; Sister-in-law-Carol Kittelson of Lake City, Minnesota; Nieces and nephews; Great nieces and nephews and Great-great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Parents-Albert and Emma Dehn; Husband-Theodore Fleck,Jr.and an Only Sibling-Brother-Donald L. Dehn. Family will meet with friends at Dengel & Son Mortuary from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 20, 2013. Inurnment will take place at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas.
