Marjorie L. (Tedrow) Troutman - Cannon, 86, of Ottawa, Kansas died on Friday, August 29, 2008 at Village Manor Nursing Home in Ottawa. She was born on Wednesday, March 8, 1922, in Ottawa. Marjorie was the daughter of Frank LeRoy and Cora (Mealman) Tedrow. Marjorie was a near lifelong Ottawa resident. From 1982 to 1995 she lived in rural Lyndon, Mrs. Cannon attended Ottawa High School. Marjorie was a lifelong homemaker. From 1976 to 1982 she was employed in the Housekeeping Department at Ottawa University. On June 23, 1939 Marjorie was united in marriage with James Franklin Troutman at Vinland, Kansas. He preceded her in death in July of 1976. In February 1982 she married Vester `Buck` Cannon in Ottawa, Kansas. `Buck` preceded her in death in December 1995. Survivors include: Daughter-Mary Caylor and her husband Bob of Ottawa, Kan. Daughter-Shirley Corbin of Ottawa, Kan. Sister-Mary Virginia Crawford of Lawrence, Kan. Grandson-Chad Caylor and his wife Sara of Ottawa, Kan. Grandson-Rodney Caylor and his wife Claudia of Ottawa, Kan. Grandson-Bryan Corbinand his companion Carrie Smith of St. Joseph, Mo. Great Grandchild-Ava Caylor of Ottawa, Kan. Great Grandchild-Amelia Caylor of Ottawa, Kan. Great Grandchild-Sammi Smith of St. Joseph, Mo. Great Grandchild-Izzy Corbin of St. Joseph, Mo. Great Grandchild-Gwen Corbin of St. Joseph, Mo. She was preceded in death by: First husband-James Franklin Troutman, who died in July of 1976. Second Husband-Vester `Buck` Cannon, who died December of 1995. Father-Frank LeRoy Tedrow Mother-Cora (Mealman) Tedrow Infant Son-James LeRoy Troutman, who died at birth. Brother-Frank Tedrow Brother-Ralph Tedrow Son-In-Law - Gene S. Corbin, who died in November of 2007 SERVICES: Graveside services will be held 10:00am Wednesday September 3, 2008 at Highland Cemetery. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Cannon from 9:00am to 9:00pm Tuesday at Dengel & Son Mortuary. CEMETERY: Highland Cemetery.
