Marie Harbison

Marie Harbison was born on Thursday, December 31, 1914, in Caplinger Mills, Missouri. She was the daughter of Charles and Alice (Barrow) Vickers. Marie grew up in Missouri, moving to the LeLoup, Kansas area with her family when she was a child. At the time of her marriage, she and her husband moved to Ottawa. They moved to Eagle Rock, Missouri in August of 1972 and returned to Ottawa on November 16, 1996, where she made her home until her death on Monday, July 3, 2006, at the age of ninety-one years. Marie graduated from Wellsville High School with the class of 1933. Following graduation, she completed a secretarial course. She worked twenty-five years as a secretary for the Gas Service Company in Ottawa, retiring in October of 1972. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ottawa.
