Margot Hildebrandt, age 81, of Ottawa, Kansas, died Sunday, November 1, 2009, at Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa. She was born on Sunday, October 28, 1928, in Germany. She was the daughter of Willi and Frieda (Szablewckie) Ohm. She has been a resident of the Ottawa area thirty-three years, moving from Chicago, Illinois, where she had lived twenty-five years. Margot was a high school graduate. She worked in a deli in Chicago; trained as a nurse’s aide; and retired from King Radio of Ottawa after twenty-seven years as a factory worker. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Ottawa. In 1948, Margo was united in marriage with Peter Plotycia in Germany. He preceded her in death. In March of 1976, she was united in marriage with Norman Hildebrandt in Chicago, Illinois. He survives of their home. She is survived by her: Husband-Norman Hildebrandt of the home Son-Harry Plotycia of Chicago, Illinois Son-John Plotycia of Medford, Oregon Son-John Hildebrandt of Ottawa, Kansas Stepdaughter-Debbie Rodgers Rodgers of Ottawa, Kansas Seven - Grandchildren Two - Gt.Grandchildren She is preceded in death by her: Parents-Willi and Frieda Ohm Son-Roman Plotycia SERVICES: Memorial services will be held at the Faith Lutheran Church, Ottawa 10:00a.m., Saturday, November 7, 2009. IN STATE: Family will meet with friends from 9a.m to the service hour at the church. Cremation if planned. CEMETERY: Fouts Cemetery, Franklin County, Kansas.
