Margie M. Seamon

Margie M. Seamon, 86, of Paola, Kansas, passed away, Thursday June 11, 2009, at her home. A graveside memorial service, will be 10:30 AM, Sat. June 27, 2009, in the Beagle Cemetery. Memorials may be made, to the Paola United Methodist Church, in care of the funeral home, 305 N. Pearl St. Paola, Kansas. To leave a special message for the family, please visit our website at www.PenwellGabel.com. Margie was born Feb. 27, 1923, to Lloyd V. Bruce and Adelaid J. Ferguson, in Las Vegas, New Mexico. In 1925 her family moved to the Kansas City area, where Margie grew up and attended and graduated from the 8th grade at Pticher District School (Blue Ridge Township) in Kansas City, Mo. In 1945 Margie married Johnny Casey, and this ended in divorce in 1947. In 1950 she married Robert Webster Seamon, in Kansas City, Mo. They moved and made their home in the Paola area. To this union four children were born, Robert, Owen, Mary and Beckie. Margie was a homemaker and did home health care for other families, for 43 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, Mary, and her two sons Robert and Owen. Margie is survived by her daughters Mary and Beckie. She will be missed by many.
