Margie A. Baldwin, 87, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Monday, August 3, 2015, at Ottawa Retirement Village. Cremation is planned and private family graveside inurnment service will be held at Highland Cemetery at a later date. Margie was born Sunday, October 16, 1927 in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of Jack and Lois (Coulson) Hoskinson. She was a lifelong Ottawa resident. Margie graduated from Ottawa High School and attended Kansas University. She was a homemaker and worked twenty-five years at Franklin County Daycare in Ottawa, serving as the assistant director before the daycare closed. Margie was united in marriage with Bill D. Baldwin July 11, 1948 in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. He survives of their home. She is also survived by sons, Richard H. Baldwin of Wichita, Kansas and David M. Baldwin and wife Debbie of Wellsville, Kansas; daughter, Jane K. Bones and husband Paul of Ottawa, Kansas; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and cousin, Tom Likai of Seattle, Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Hoskinson and Lois Walker. The family suggests memorial contributions to Franklin County Cancer Foundation c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S.
