Margaret T. Rickman

Margaret Teresa (Pfannes) Rickman, age 91, of Louisburg, KS., formerly of Bucyrus, KS., passed away October 5, 2008. She was born on April 22, 1917 at Wea, KS., the daughter of John & Gertrude (Troll) Pfannes. She graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1936 at the age of 19. Margaret worked at several locations in Kansas City before marrying Harry B. Niccum in 1945. He preceded her in death and she married Vern Rickman in 1967. He preceded her in death in June, 1973. She took great pleasure in country & western music, dancing, playing the organ and singing in the church choir. So much of her life was spent giving and caring for others, that was just her nature. She is survived by 2 daughters Terri Barr & husband Terry, Colorado; Jackie Yantis and husband George, Olathe, Ks.; 1 son, John Niccum and wife Doris, Princeton, Ks.; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Holy Rosary Church, Wea, KS. with the visitation being from 10:00 " 11:00 A.M. prior to the service. Burial will be in the Holy Rosary Cemetery.
