Margaret M. Casaert

Margaret M. Casaert age 92, of Stilwell, KS, died on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Louisburg Care Center. Margaret was born in Dodson, MO on April 3, 1917. The youngest of nine children born to Joseph and Emma (De Covela) Ceule. She married Arthur Casaert on Sept. 16, 1944 in Kansas City, MO. Margaret worked at White Haven Hotel, cleaned houses and was a housewife. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Donald E. Lichtenauer, four brothers, Gustave, William, Charles & Henry Ceule and 3 sisters, Julia Ceule, Emalie Ceule and Mary Ceule. Margaret leaves behind her husband of 65 years Arthur of Stilwell, KS, two daughters, Betty (John) Knapp, Overland Park, KS; Shirley J. (Joseph) Lichtenauer, Melvern KS; a son, Lonny J. (Roxanne) Casaert, Edgerton, KS and nine grandchildren, Julie (Lichtenauer) Anschultz (Shane), Steve Lichtenauer, Mark Lichtenauer, Dan Knapp (Amy), Kim (Knapp) Hansen (Chris ) Dave Knapp, Eric Casaert (April), Andrea Casaert and Michelle Casaert; six great grandchildren, Kyle Knapp, Mathew Anschutz, Caleb Anschutz, Dylan Casaert, Damion Casaert and Brionna Casaert; a sister Anna (Ceule) Van Compernolle, many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws and friends. Memorial Contributions may be given to Queen of the Holy Rosary Church or to Louisburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation center.
