Margaret L. Cagley

Margaret Louise Cagley, 105, of Lane, Kansas, passed away Friday, May 31, 2019, at her home. Margaret was born Thursday, February 12, 1914, in Hennepin County, MN, the daughter of Nelson and Carrie (Hahn) Cagley. As a child her family moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she grew up. She started employment with Tension Envelope Company in Kansas City and retired from management after 41 years. Margaret resided in her home in Lane where she enjoyed helping others, especially during apple dumplling time at the Fontana Church. She enjoyed being outside and entertaining guests. She liked making crafts with Mary and Sue and selling them at craft shows. She also loved being around children. She was preceded in death by her mother Carrie and father Nelson Cagley, brother Kenneth Cagley, and sisters Mary and Sue Trobaugh. Survivors include the Trobaugh family and many friends who loved her. Cremation, no services.
