Marcella Nancy Radford, 78, of Wellsville, Kansas died on Friday, November 21, 2008 at her home in Wellsville, Kansas. She was the daughter of Martin and Ruth (Davidson) Holtsclaw and was born on Friday, October 10, 1930, in Kansas City, Kansas. She has lived in Wellsville since 1977, moving there from Kansas City, Kansas. Nancy graduated from Wyandotte High School with the class of 1948. Nancy was employed at Certainteed Fiberglass of Kansas City, Kansas, retiring in 1985. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church of Paola, Kansas, were she taught Sunday school classes. Nancy loved her grandchildren and enjoyed working in her yard. She was a fan of Kansas University basketball. On June 12, 1952 Nancy was united in marriage with Richard Radford at Kansas City, Kansas. He preceded her in death on June 8, 1983. Survivors include: Son-Rocky Radford and his wife Becky of Lawrence, Kan., Son-Robert Radford of Miami, Okla., Sister-Helen DeFries of Bonner Springs, Kan.; Brother-Billy Holtsclaw and his wife, Pat, of Olathe, Kan.; Grandchildren-Six ; Great-Grandchildren-Three She was preceded in death by: Husband- Richard Radford on June, 8, 1983; Father-Martin Holtsclaw; Mother-Ruth (Davidson) Holtsclaw; Daughter-Lori Radford; Son-Richard W. Radford; Sister-Charlotte Morton; Brother-John Holtsclaw; Brother-Jim Holtsclaw. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2008. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Radford at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 9:00 a.m. Friday, where the family will meet with friends from 12:30 p.m. until the service hour. CEMETERY: Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Miami County, Kansas. MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S.
