Mabel Webb

Mabel Webb age 95 of Paola passed away March 3, at the North Point Nursing Home in Paola. Services will be Sat. March 7 at 11:00AM with visitation at 10AM, at the Penwell-Gabel Paola Chapel, burial in the Paola Cemetery, memorials to the Grace Hospice of Kansas City Mo. Mabel was born on July 26, 1913 in Paola Kansas to Andy and Ann Strunks Smith. She attended school in Paola and on July 6, 1936 she was united in marriage to Dale Melvin Webb in Kansas City, MO. They made their home in Paola and raised two sons. Mabel enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, reading, writing, needle work, loved to dance, and loved listening to music. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two grandsons, Jerry James Webb, Jamie Clawson and three brothers, Adrian Smith, Floyd Smith, Pete Smith, and one sister Dorothy Stowell. Survivors are son Dale and wife Susan Webb of Rantoul, Leroy Carkhuff of Sacramento, California, six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
