Mabel Lowry

Mabel L. Lowry, 83 of Olathe, passed away September 10, 2010 at the Royal Terrace Nursing Center. Mabel was born January 28, 1927 in Paola to John E. and Melody Tomlinson Lowry. She graduated from Paola High School in 1945 and was a life-long resident of Paola. She worked as a weight inspector for the Department of Transportation and as an Avon Representative. She enjoyed going to garage sales, watching tv " especially the Golden Girls, she collected teddy bears and enjoyed family gatherings. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Alice Johnson and Bertha Lowry; and one brother, George Lowry. She is survived by her niece, Melody Campbell of New Hope, MN; nephews, Brian Johnson of Paola, and Steven Johnson of Gardner, KS; and five great nieces and nephews.
