Louis L. Mason

Louis L. Boots Mason, age 73, of Ottawa, Kansas, died Saturday, November 26, 2011. He was born on Friday, October 28, 1938, in Ottawa, Kansas, the son of Henry and Carrie Dora (Marks) Mason. He was a lifelong Franklin County, Kansas resident. Louis attended Pomona schools. He was a heavy equipment operator fifty years. He worked for various construction companies including Koss Construction. He also scraped metal and raised cattle. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local Union No. 101 of Topeka, Kansas. On Friday, May 5, 1967, Louis was united in marriage with Carol Kime in Ottawa, Kansas. She survives of their home. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Wife-Carol Mason of the home; Daughter-Debora Mille of Salina, Kansas; Daughter-Cynthia Weber and her husband, William, of Williamsburg, Kansas; Daughter-Patricia Mason of Nebraska; Sister-Pauline Arb of Melvern, Kansas; Brother-William Mason and his companion, Grace, of Topeka, Kansas; Brother-Robert Mason and his companion, Judy, of Burlington, Kansas; Sister-Shirley Bulgarelli and her husband, Vincent L., of Ottawa, Kansas; Sister-Mabel Lee and her husband, James, of Texas; Sister-Ella Mae Wynn and her husband, Larry, of Ottawa, Kansas; Brother-Elmer Mason of Ottawa, Kansas; Grandchildren-(7) Sarah Mille, Jacob Mille, Jerico Mayfield, Persha Mason, Jenifer Mason, Cody Weber, Samantha Weber; Great-Grandchildren-(2) Victoria Coronodo and Veronica Detar; Many Nieces & Nephews. He is preceded in death by his Parents-Henry and Carrie Dora Mason; Brother-Henry Mason, Jr. and Brother-Charles Mason. SERVICES: Cremation is planned. Family and friends will meet from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2011, at Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa. MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorial contributions to Louis L.
