Lorraine Stoebick

Lorraine L Stoebick age 75 of Gardner formally of Paola went to be with her savior and her Lord on Friday Dec. 9th on her dear mothers birthday at home.(cremation) private services are planned. Lorraine was born on Oct. 19, 1935 in Spirit Lake Iowa to Jack and Lola Sheldon Warren. She grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and later called Paola her home. She retired after working for many years for the University of Kansas Medical Center in the Administration Dept. prior work included working in the Kansas State Government department as a clerical employee. Her hobbies were Indian jewelry making, and her many charities dealing with the children on the North Dakota Indian reservation. She is preceded in death by her parents, herbothers, Charles F. Mecum and Glenn Harry Mecum, and one brother-in law Don Blanton. Surviving are her son Douglas and wife Kirsten Stoebick of Olathe , 2 grandchildren: Keelon B. Stoebick of the home and Zebulon D. Stoebick and wife Michelle who are in Germany serving our country in the US Army,3 sisters: Patty Brewer and husband Bob, Connie Hale and husband Hurbert, Lola Blanton and one brother Jim Mecum and wife Patsy, and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
