Loretta Jean Edwards

Loretta Jean Edwards, age 52, of Ottawa, Kansas, died Friday, January 6, 2012. She was born on Monday, October 12, 1959, in Liberty, Missouri, the daughter of Edgar and Miriam (Potter) Johnson. She was a resident of Garnett, Kansas for many years prior to moving to Ottawa, where she made her home the past three years. Loretta graduated from Central Heights High School. She worked as a checker for Country Mart in Ottawa. On Tuesday, February 7, 2001, Loretta was united in marriage with Harold Isaac Edwards in Garnett, Kansas. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2005. She is survived by her: Son-James Lewis of Ottawa, Kansas; Daughter-Jessica Schell and her husband, Jacob, of Ottawa, Kansas; Brother-Rick Johnson and his wife, Traniece, of Lane, Kansas and Six Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her: Husband-Harold Isaac Edwards and Parents-Edgar and Miriam Johnson. SERVICES: Memorial Services will be held at a later date. IN STATE: Cremation is planned.
