Lisa Jean Reeves, 59, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014, in Kansas City, Missouri. Graveside services will be held at Princeton Cemetery, Princeton, Kansas, 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2014. Family will meet with friends from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Dengel & Son Mortuary. Lisa was born on June 14, 1955 in Columbus, Kansas, the daughter of Howard and Ethel (Garrett) Scott. She loved buying and selling items on EBay. Lisa enjoyed feeding and watching the squirrels and birds in her back yard. She also enjoyed volunteering for Operation Break Through in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a resident of Raymore from 1989 to 2014, moving from Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Lisa attended Ottawa High School and in 1983, graduated from Ottawa University with a degree in accounting and economics. She later received a criminal justice degree, in 1991, from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. On December 4, 1976, Lisa was united in marriage with Eugene Reeves at Community Foursquare Church in Ottawa. He survives of the home. Survivors also include her son, Jeremy Reeves of Raymore; father, Howard Scott and wife Kathy of Junction City, Kansas; sister, Susan Armstrong of Neosho, Missouri; brother, Mark Scott of Neosho; father and mother-in-law, Acie and Marjorie Reeves of Williamsburg, Kansas; brother-in-law, David Reeves and wife Gayle of Williamsburg; two uncles, Doug Garrett of Neosho, Missouri and Ernie Macio of Blue Water, New Mexico; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Scott. She worked for the State of Missouri, as a probation officer, from 1992 to 2000. She also worked for Eureka Springs Hospital, as a purchasing officer, from 1987 to 1989 and for KTCN Radio Station in Eureka Springs, as an accountant, from 1985 to 1987. She was an active volunteer for Operation Break Through in Kansas City, Missouri.
