Linda Shirlene Vogh

July 4, 1948 — February 26, 2023

Linda Shirlene Vogh, 74, of Pomona, Kansas, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023, in her loving hometown of twenty-nine years.

Linda was born Sunday, July 4, 1948, and was a red-headed firecracker, in Hugo, Oklahoma, as the daughter of Marvin and Oma (Bankston) Moore.

She was united in marriage to Lloyd Vogh March 3, 1967, in Bell, California, where he still survives of the home. Linda passed six days before their 56th wedding anniversary.

Linda made life with her husband, living the majority of her life in Colleyville, Texas for sixteen years, 1971-1987, before moving to Pomona, Kansas. She graduated from nursing school in the early 1980’s, in the H.E.B. area. She cared for many serving in several locations including Richmond Health Care in the 2000’s, retiring in 2005.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, she made the best chicken fried steak in the world, playing card games, camping, watching game shows, Mexican food, margaritas, telling jokes, talking with family and friends, and most of all watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Chiefs football games (at Ron & Lynn’s).

Linda was the best wife, mom, grandma, great grandma, aunt, and sister that anybody could imagine. She loved like no other and would do anything for you.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheri Lothert; brothers, Max and Jackie Moore; sisters, Sybil Miller and Wanda Rictor.

Survived and loved by many family and friends which include husband, Lloyd; son, Alan Vogh and Stephanie Totten of Pomona, Kansas; grandchildren, Ty Vogh of Pomona, Morgan and Brianne Lothert both of Topeka; and great granddaughter, Nova Vogh of Pomona, Kansas.

Family will meet with friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa.

Linda will rest in peace at Woodlawn Cemetery, Pomona, Kansas.
