Linda S. Mundell

Linda Sue Mundell, age 73, of Gardner, Ks passed away January 13, 2021 at the Ruble Ranch in Overbrook, Kansas. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Osawatomie Cemetery. Linda was born at New Cambrea, Missouri on October 20, 1947, the daughter of Kenneth Henry and Juanita (Ayres) Henry. She grew up in Paola and graduated from Paola High School with the Class of 1965. She worked at the Osawatomie State Hospital as a nurse's aide for many years and retired from there. Linda was an outdoorsy person. She loved going for car rides and watching humming birds. She also enjoyed her canine companions. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jerry Mundell, and her son Steven Hood. She is survived by her son Brian Tawney of Ottawa; three sisters Terry Jasper, Alma Baumgartner, and Chelsea Snyder; one brother Louis Ayres; two grandsons Kaleb Tawney and Destry Hood; many other relatives and friends. Family and friends are encouraged to post their memories and condolences on Linda's tribute wall.
