Linda Sue Miller was born March 4, 1945, in Richmond, California. She was the daughter of Ewltia and Juanita (Jackson) Robinson. A lifelong resident, Linda made her home in Ottawa, in Franklin County, Kansas, until her death Sunday, November 21, 2004, at the age of fifty-nine years. Linda attended Ottawa High School with the class of 1963. She was employed at Gibson's Department Store and Pamida Department Store, both of Ottawa, as a sales clerk. She had been employed at Wal-Mart, since it opened in Ottawa, as an assistant manager, and later as a sales associate, totaling twenty-two years of service. Linda attended Ottawa Church of The Nazarene as a child. Linda was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and swimming. Linda was an excellent cook and liked to crochet and create various crafts. On September 9, 1979, Linda was united in marriage with Dennis Miller in Atchison, Kansas. He survives of their home. She was previously married to Wayne Morris. They were later divorced. Linda is also survived by her mother, Juanita Robinson, of Ottawa, Kansas; five daughters, Missy Miller and Roger Burcham, of Ottawa, Kansas, Mindi Masoner and her husband, Dallas, of Chanute, Kansas, Tracy Warner and her husband, Rick, of Des Moines, Iowa, Shelley Hayward and her husband, Jim, of Princeton, Kansas, Lori Morris of Kansas City, Missouri; stepdaughter, Terice Bennett of Grove, Oklahoma; stepson, Troy Miller of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers, Larry Robinson and his wife, Bev, of Gladwin, Michigan, Michael Robinson and his wife, Jo, of Ottawa, Kansas; seventeen grandchildren; and, several nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Ewltia Robinson. SERVICES: Memorial services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2004 OFFICIATING CLERGY: Pastor Steven Iwerson IN STATE: Mrs. Miller has been cremated.
