Linda Lee Mustain

March 11, 1949 — December 5, 2006

Linda Lee (Burgoon) Mustain was born on Friday, March 11, 1949, in Ottawa, Kansas. She was the daughter of David, Jr. and Wilma Jean (Lilly) Burgoon. A lifelong resident, Linda made her home in Ottawa, in Franklin County, Kansas, until her death on Tuesday, December 5, 2006, at the age of fifty-seven years. Linda attended Ottawa schools, earning her G.E.D. in 1975. She was employed as an Electronic Assembler at Suntron in Olathe, Kansas, until 2004. She was a devoted member of Community Revival Center Church of Ottawa. Linda was an outgoing, very caring person and a gifted vocalist and artist. She was a member of the church choir and sang with her husband at Saturday night specials. She loved to paint, especially scenery. One of her lovely paintings has been reproduced on the front cover of this folder. She also enjoyed the outdoors and liked to go fishing and hunting. In her younger years, she went hunting and trapping with her dad. Linda's greatest enjoyment came from her loving family and many friends. She was always ready to help anyone who needed her. On August 3, 1981, Linda was united in marriage with Ernest Dean Mustain, Sr. in Ottawa. He survives. She is also survived by her mother of Ottawa; two sons, David Conley and his wife, Sandy, of Alabama, Ernest Dean Mustain, Jr. of Phoeniz, Arizona; daughter, Rejeana Lee Hood and her husband, Samuel, of Ottawa; brother, Richard Burgoon and his wife, Carlene, of Ottawa; granddaughter, Elizabeth Conley of Alabama; unborn granddaughter, Lauren Lee Hood; and several nieces and nephews.
