Linda K. Wilson, 53, of Gardner, Kansas, formerly of Ottawa, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 29, 2019, at Dengel & Son Mortuary followed by a family visitation. A private family inurnment will be held later at Highland Cemetery. Linda was born December 8, 1965, in Ottawa, the daughter of Floyd R. and Sharon K. (Hall) Heckman. She grew up in Ottawa moving to Johnson County living in the Gardner/Olathe area for the last 15 years. She graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1984 and continued her education in Kansas City, receiving her Associates Degree in Nursing. Linda was united in marriage to Keith Wilson July 26, 2004, in Ottawa. He survives of the home. Other survivors include her mother, Sharon “Sherry” Heckman of Ottawa; three stepchildren, Kevin Wilson, Jennifer Wilson and Miranda Arnold and husband Travis all of Olathe; brother, Michael “Mike” Heckman and wife Kandace of Cheyenne, Wyoming; stepbrother, Andrew Schelp and wife Stephanie of Warrensburg, Missouri; stepsister, April Ohrenberg and husband Kent of Concordia, Missouri; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Floyd and Sandra Heckman. Linda worked as an LPN at the Osawatomie State Hospital for 25 years touching many lives. Linda loved her family, friends and spending every weekend with her Mom. She enjoyed reading, cats and playing Bunco, Skip-Bo and Yahtzee.
