Lillian Loretta Miller, 75, of Pomona, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018, with her family by her side. Family will meet with friends from 6:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M., Friday, September 28, 2018, at Dengel & Son Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania. Interment Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Spring Grove, Pennsylvania. Lillian was born July 27, 1943 in Hanover, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Harry and Catherine (Little) Ruppert. She lived in the Pomona area since 2016 moving here from Hanover where she was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Spring Grove High School in Pennsylvania with the class of 1962. Lillian was united in marriage to Ray Miller October 27, 1962, in Hanover. He survives of the home. Other survivors include three children, Leah Wray and husband Ben of Pomona, Carla Duncan and husband Benjamin also of Pomona, and Wendy Davis of Hanover, Pennsylvania; three siblings, Earl Ruppert and wife Janet of York Springs, Pennsylvania, Dale Ruppert and wife Suellan of North East, Pennsylvania, and Gloria Huddler and husband Eddy of Harrisonburg, Virginia; nine grandchildren, Devin Wray and wife Hannah, Kaylene Steelman and husband Shane, Kristy Wray, Kara Wray, Phillip Duncan, Cole Duncan, Tristyn Davis, Cassie Davis, and Brett Miller; and two great-grandchildren, Claire and Cade Wray. She was preceded in death by parents, Harry and Catherine Ruppert; sister-in-law, Arlamae Ruppert; and nephew, Rocky Ruppert. She was a devoted lifelong homemaker. Lillian also was employed as an EMT with Adams Hanover Patient Services and Medic 46 of Hanover for 5 years in the late 1980s. She was a Lifeline Coordinator at Hanover Hospital for 10 years in the mid-1990s to the mid-2000s. Lillian was a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania. She loved family gatherings and her grandchildren meant the world to her, she also enjoyed working in her flower beds.
