Eulis "Leo" Napier age 88, of Paola. KS, passed away July 12, 2013 at the North Point Care Center, Paola, KS. Leo was born in Seymour, Missouri, on February 16, 1925, son of Foster Lee and Icy Belle (Rushing) Napier. He married Marvie Lee Robertson in Springfield, Missouri on May 17, 1946. They had three children. Leo worked as a master carpenter in the Kansas City area and was a member of the Carpenter"s Union #714. He lived many years in Olathe before building his dream home in Paola in 1995. He served with the Army Air Corp during World War II as a sergeant. Leo was a charter member and an ordained deacon of Ridgeview Baptist Church in Olathe before joining First Baptist Church in Paola. He loved his family and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and auctions. His survivors include his wife, Marvie Lee, Paola, and his three children Gary Napier (Verna), Topeka, Janice Hawkins (Wayne), Olathe, and Terry Napier, Paola, sister, Elva Smith (Michael), Florida, as well as six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorial contributions to Olathe Hospice or to the First Baptist Church, Paola.
