Lennie Mae Canon

Lennie Mae Canon, 101, of Paola, Kansas passed away Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010 at North Point Skilled Nursing Center. She was born in Louisburg on June 28, 1909 to James Wilson and Chattie Mae Morgan Ring. She received her education from Paola High School. Lennie was employed for many years in sales and management with the Sears Company. She was a member of the Paola Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Eugene Winton Moon; three brothers; six sisters; and one grandson. Lennie is survived by two granddaughters, Katherine Gail Moon Spalding and husband Richard of Riverside, CA, and Jeannie Mae Moon Stem and husband Darryl of Red Oak, OK; six great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the Paola Christian Church.
