Laurence E. Eneihen, 78, Rantoul, died Thursday, Aug. 14, 2008, at Williamsburg. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa. He was born on Saturday, Aug. 24, 1929, at Rantoul to Laurence and Margaret (Powner) Eneihen. He was a lifelong resident of Rantoul. He was a lifelong farmer. He married Dolores Kline Aug. 27, 1949, at Ottawa. She preceded him in death Feb. 24, 1979. Survivors include a daughter, Pat Wright, and her husband, Bill, Williamsburg; sons, Ricky Eneihen, and his wife, Sharon, Rantoul, and Ed Eneihen, and his wife, Sharrai, Tecumseh; a brother, George Eneihen, Rantoul; a companion, Frances Hills, Ottawa; grandchildren, Kim Wright, Amy Welton, Chad Eneihen, Alaura Eneihen, Jamie Woolard and Dusty Hefley; and 13 great-grandchildren. Friends may pay their respects 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa. Family will meet with friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions may be sent to Midland Care Hospice of Ottawa in care of Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory St., Ottawa KS 66067.
