Laurence Boehm

Laurence L. Boehm, 82, of Paola, Kansas, passed away on July 24, 2019 at North Point Nursing Home with his family at his side. He was a son to Lloyd & Marjorie (Beets) Boehm. He was born in a farmhouse north of Hillsdale and has only lived in 2 houses his whole life. He was a rural letter carrier in Paola for 30 years and was a farm boy at heart. He was a 1955 graduate of Paola High School and played the saxophone in the high school band. He joined the National Guard after graduating high school and served 11 years. Laurence was also a 4th degree Knight of Columbus and an organist at Holy Trinity Catholic Church for many years. Laurence was very dedicated to his faith and family. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his grandsons grow. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Mary of 53 years; his sons Mike (Kim), Dan, Steve (Ann); his grandsons Ben, Brendan, Tanner, Jack & Joe; and many family members and friends.
