Larry William Shoop

Larry William Shoop, age 79, of Paola, Kansas went home to be with the Lord on August 18, 2015 at his home. Larry was born on March 28, 1936 to Floyd and Lucy Boley Shoop in Rothville, Missouri. He was united in marriage on June 26, 1955 to Marilyn Jean Gillespie. He made his home in Spring Hill and later in the Paola area. Larry worked at Smith and Loveless in Lenexa, Kansas for 36 years. Larry enjoyed visiting with his family and friends. He liked to fish with his son and work on his farm with his wife by his side. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and sister June Lambert. He is survived by his wife Jean of the home; daughters Debbie Skinner (Joel) of Osawatomie, KS and Dianna Rosner (Artie) of Paola; son Larry Dwayne Shoop (Laura) of Spring Hill, KS; sister Donna Hackler of Knoxville, IA; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
