Lane Duane Dyer

Lane Duane Dyer, age 85, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away July 16, 2024, at Richmond Healthcare, Richmond, Kansas.

Lane was born November 9, 1938 to Russell Lewis and Helen Irene (Sutton) Dyer.

He attended New Union grade school. He graduated from Ottawa High School in 1956. Following high school, Lane furthered his education at Clark Business College. In 1959, Lane began his career with Santa Fe Railroad. After forty-one years of employment with the railroad, Lane retired in 2000. Lane was also in the Army Reserves for nine years.

Lane is preceded in death by his parents Russell and Helen Dyer.

He is survived by his brother Dale Dyer of Ottawa, Kansas.

Graveside services will be held 2:00p.m., Monday, July 22, 2024, at Sutton Cemetery, Baldwin City, Kansas.
