Kenny Lee Strausbaugh

Kenneth Lee (Kenny) Strausbaugh, age 68, of Bucyrus, KS, passed away on April 8, 2019 at his home. Visitation will be 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday April 14, 2019 at the Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church Wea, Bucyrus, KS. The Rosary will be prayed on Monday April 15, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the church with the funeral mass following at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at the Queen of the Holy Rosary Cemetery. Kenny was born in Paola, KS on September 2, 1950, the son of William and Della (Stiles) Strausbaugh. He graduated from Spring Hill High School with the class of 1969. He was united in marriage to Mary Kelly on October 4, 1974 in Wea, KS. Kenny worked for Bayer Corporation retiring in 2016. He enjoyed coaching kid’s sports teams, participating in BBQ competitions with his family and helping with the Wea Men’s Club. He also loved to hunt and spend time joking with family and friends. He was preceded in death by is parents, William and Della, brother, Richard Pratt, brother, Bill Strausbaugh, sister, Judy and sister, Elizabeth. Survivors include his wife, Mary, Bucyrus, KS; daughter, Anna (Mark) Turner of Spring Hill, KS; son, Mark (Julie) of Edgerton, KS; Daughter, Erin (Andy) Austin of Overland Park, KS; grandchildren, Aiden, Wyatt, Griffin and Grace; one sister, Carmen DeGraeve, Bucyrus, KS; four brothers, Mike of Spring Hill, KS, Jerry of Spring Hill, KS, Max, of Spring Hill, KS and Phil of Paola, KS. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
