Kelli Diane Graves

Kelli Diane Graves, age 44, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at her home surrounded by loved ones.

Celebration of life will be held from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm, Saturday, September 23, 2023, at The Lincoln Event Space, 122 E 2nd St., Ottawa, Kansas 66067.

Kelli was born on Monday, February 12,1979, in Fairbury, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Shirley (Macom) McDaniel.

She attended and graduated from Ottawa High School. Kelli then went on to graduate with an Associates degree from Neosho Community College.

She married Gary Graves on March 2, 2019.

Kelli worked for Newman Regional Health in Emporia, Kansas for five years. She worked as an occupational Therapy Assistant.

Kelli served as a board member for Ottawa’s USD 290 School District. She was very active with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America as well as Meal on Wheels as a volunteer. Family was very important to Kelli, often making yearly trips to visit relatives and extended family members.

Kelli is survived by her husband, Gary Graves, daughter, Harper Bogart, parents, Bob and Diane McDaniel, father and mother-in-law, Bob and Sharon Graves, as well as many siblings, aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made payable to the Franklin County Cancer Foundation, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S Hickory St., Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
