Kelley Raye Minden Casida

Kelley Raye Casida, age 58, of Paola, Kansas passed away March 22, 2021 at Olathe Medical Center. Kelley was born March 5, 1963 at Paola, Kansas, the daughter of Ray and Lou (Close) Minden. She attended school in Paola. Kelley worked in the family businesses as a retail sales clerk at Ray's Lawn and Garden and Minden's Liquor both in Paola. She enjoyed football and baseball, especially the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals. She also loved to play Yahtzee with her most fierce competitor, her mom. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of Paola Eagles Club. Kelley was preceded in death by her mother Lou and her boyfriend Rick Clinton. She is survived by her son Donnie Casida of Paola; father Ray Minden of Paola; sister Anita Goodall (Kent) of Osawatomie; brother Ralph Minden (Debbie) of Gardner; half sisters Barbara Goyer of Ottawa, Bonnie Seigler of California, and Betty Tanner of Oklahoma; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 4p.m. to 7p.m., Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Dengel & Son Mortuary, 305 N. Pearl St., Paola, KS, 66071. Graveside services will be held Friday, March 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Osawatomie Cemetery. Memorials are to the Miami County Cancer Foundation and can be sent in care of the funeral home. Family and friends are encouraged to post their memories and condolences on Kelley's tribute wall.
