Kay Kathryn Todd, 78, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at Ransom Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 12, 2016, at Wellsville Cemetery, Wellsville, Kansas Family will meet with friends from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., Sunday, December 11, 2016, at Dengel & Son Mortuary. Kay was born Saturday, October 15, 1938, in Ottawa, the daughter of Leo and Anna Mae (Burnett) Leecy. She was a lifelong Ottawa resident, graduating from Ottawa High School with the class of 1956. Kay was united in marriage to Mark N. Todd May 23, 1975, in Ottawa. He survives of the home. Other survivors include her four children, Lori Skilling and husband Wes of Vassar, Randy Reed of Ottawa, Tony Reed and wife Cathy of Overland Park, and Jeffery Reed and wife Ronda of Princeton; two stepchildren, Michael Todd and Julie Strickland both of Oklahoma; sister, Barbara Bennett and husband Willard of Hutchinson; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and seven step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Leecy and Anna Mae Reams; and nephew, Bruce Bennett. Kay was employed with the Franklin County Treasurer’s Office, Farm Bureau Insurance, and was a Realtor for 15 years, retiring in 1999. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Ottawa Credit Women serving as secretary, Aerie Lodge 2700 Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary trustee, National Association of Realtors, Franklin County Realtors Association Board of Directors, and Kansas Farm Bureau member. Kay always enjoyed attending baseball and football games for her own boys and grandchildren. She loved taking care of her grandkids and also loved her dogs and cat.
