Katherine Imogene Latimer, 87, of Lenexa, KS, died Tuesday, February 5, 2002 in Lenexa, KS. She was born March 19, 1914 in Olathe, KS. Imogene was a lifelong resident of Ottawa, moving to Overland Park, Kansas in 1996. Imogene graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1932. Imogene was a lifelong homemaker. Imogene was also employed as a travel agent for Peoples National Bank in Ottawa for sixteen years. Imogene was a former member of Grace Episcopal Church and the Church Altar Society, Ottawa, and the Ottawa Country Club. On March 3, 1940, Imogene was united in marriage with Loren Latimer at Ottawa. He preceded her in death on December 17, 1977. She is survived by two sons, Bob Latimer, Prairie Village, KS, Mike Latimer, and his wife Susan, Overland Park, KS; one brother, Willard Richardson, Overland Park, KS; a daughter inlaw Susan Latimer, Overland Park, KS; two grandsons, Darren Latimer and Lyon Latimer. Her husband, Loren W. Latimer; parents, Austin L. and Mary Eunice (Lanyon) Richardson; two sisters, Ruth Weidner and Eleanor DeGarmo precedes her in death. SERVICES: Graveside services will be held from Highland Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2002. OFFICIATING CLERGY: Rev. Francis Stockton. CEMETERY: Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, Kansas.
