Karen Sue Cannady, age 59, of Independence, Missouri, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at Centerpointe Medical Center in Independence, Missouri. She was born on Saturday, October 18, 1952, in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of Harlan and Frances (Talley) Cannady. Karen lived all her life in Princeton, Kansas, until moving to Independence, Missouri twenty years ago. Karen graduated from Central Heights High School with the class of 1970. She was an assembly worker and supervisor, working for Plattner Industries of Ottawa and several other manufacturing companies including Modern Plastics of Independence, Missouri. She was a member of Rivers of Living Water Church in Sugar Creek, Missouri, and former member of Princeton Christian Church. She is survived by her: Sister-Kay Wiederholt and her husband, Phillip, of Osage City, Kansas; Brother-Jim Cannady and his wife, Beverly, of Princeton, Kansas; Sister-Mary Ann Zielsdorf and her husband, Marvin, of Topeka, Kansas; Sister-Arlene Coon and her husband, Gary, of Waverly, Kansas; Sister-Ila Bethell of Williamsburg, Kansas; Brother-Tom Cannady and his wife, Debbie, of Princeton, Kansas and Many Nieces, Nephews, Gt.Nieces & Nephews Gt.Gt. Nieces & Nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents-Harlan and Frances Cannady. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 26, 2011. IN STATE: Family will meet with friends from 10:00 to 11:00 Monday morning prior to services. CEMETERY: Princeton Cemetery in Princeton, Kansas.
