Justin Michael Dyer

Justin Michael Dyer, 41, of Pomona, Kansas, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory St, Ottawa, Kansas 66067. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Pomona, Kansas.

Justin was born on December 10, 1981, in Ottawa, Kansas. He was the son of Michael and Barbara (Mowat) Dyer. Justin grew up in Pomona, and graduated from Pomona High School with the class of 2001.

He married Lisa Davis on May 26, 2023, at Pomona Lake. Justin loved farming, he could operate any piece of equipment. He enjoyed being outside, hunting, mudding and tending to his animals. Justin could light up any room that he walked into and his laugh was infectious. He loved spending time with his friends and family more than anything. Justin left this earth too soon.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Dyer, and brother, Joseph Dyer, maternal grandparents, Jim and Mary Mowat, and paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Verda Dyer.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Dyer, of the home, father, Michael Dyer, of the home, three children, Ashlynn Davis, Sean Davis and Ryan Connelly, as well as many extend family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made payable to Prairie Paws Animal Shelter, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory St., Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
