Julia Ann Gentry

Julia Ann Gentry, 66, of Paola, passed away on December 4, 2024, at North Point Skilled Nursing. 

She was born on December 19, 1957, to George and Paula (Showalter) Gentry in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Paola High School in 1976. 

Julia worked as an LPN for the Lakemary Center for several years. She also worked for Walmart in Gardner, Kansas for several years. 

She was a member of the Lighthouse Presbyterian Church of Paola, Kansas. 

Julia was a loyal Kansas University Jayhawks, Kansas City Chiefs, and Kansas City Royals fan. She enjoyed attending games and following the teams on television. She also loved animals and enjoyed gardening. 

Julia is survived by her father, George Gentry and brother, Randall Gentry. She was preceded in death by her mother, Paula Gentry. 

A visitation will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, beginning at 11:00am with a funeral service to follow at 12:00pm. A burial will be held after the service at Sharon Cemetery in Drexel, Missouri.
