Judy K. Maddax, age 67, of Louisburg, KS passed away at her home on February 17, 2015. She was born June 20, 1947 in Stockton, CA, the daughter of Owen and Eula Mae (Harrison) McCollum. She was united in marriage to Dave Maddax on February 27, 1981 in Reno, Nevada. Judy worked for Montgomery Wards as a bookkeeper for 20 years before retiring. She was a member of the Louisburg Lions Club, a member of Louisburg American Legion Auxiliary Post 250 and the First Christian Church of Louisburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Aaron Burgess and one sister, Jeanie Davenport. Survivors include her husband, David, of the home; two daughters, Michael Michele (Craig) Sattler, Louisburg, KS; and Hillarey (Kevin) Baker, Rancho-Cordova, CA; four grandchildren, Brandon (Desirae) Sattler, Colorado Springs, CO; Jason (Shelly) Sattler, Louisburg, KS; Joshawa and Christopher Baker, Rancho-Cordova, CA; two great grandchildren, Riley Sattler, Louisburg, KS and Wyatt Sattler, Colorado Springs, CO; and one sister, Kimberly Johnson.
