Judith Elaine Dunlap

Judith Elaine Dunlap, 69, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

Celebration of life will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Washburn Towers, Ottawa, Kansas.

Inurnment Highland Cemetery.

Judy was born Tuesday, May 11, 1954, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the daughter of John and Elaine (Funk) Lovgren.

She lived in the Kansas City metro area before moving to Ottawa in 1994.

Judy graduated from Oak Park High School in Kansas City, Missouri with the class of 1972. She attended Missouri Western State University in Saint Joseph, Missouri.

She was united in marriage to Robert Cronk. They later divorced in the early 1990’s. She was united in marriage on December 17, 1995 in Ottawa, Kansas to Roy Dunlap. He survives of the home.

Judy worked as an administrative assistant for many years and as a deli clerk for Ottawa Price Chopper for the last five years. She greatly enjoyed her time working at the deli.

She enjoyed gardening, making cards, constructing stained glass, designing jewelry, camping, working, shopping, housekeeping, and video and computer games. Judy especially loved spending time with her family.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents John and Elaine; son Bobby Cronk; and In-Laws Don and Helen Sheler.

Survivors include husband Roy; step-mother Sandy Lovgren of Ottawa, Kansas; daughter Angie Braun (Kevin) of Kansas City, Missouri; brother Jon Lovgren of Captin Cook, Hawaii; and sisters Barb Noellsch (Karl) of Oregon, Missouri and Carrie Witt (Bruce) of Franklin, Kentucky.
