Juanita was born May 17, 1925, at Ottawa, Kansas. She was the daughter of Eutimio and Josefa (Torrez) Barron. A lifelong resident, she made her home in Ottawa, Franklin County, Kansas, until her death Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at the age of seventy-six years. Juanita attended Ottawa schools. She enjoyed all the pleasures of being a homemaker and was very skilled at cooking and sewing. She also loved animals and spent a lot of time tending to her garden and flowers. Most of all, Juanita was dedicated to caring for her family. Juanita was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Ottawa. On June 11, 1949, Juanita was united in marriage with Amparo Ybarra at Ottawa, Kansas. He preceded her in death on September 20, 2000. Also, preceding her in death are her parents and three brothers, Joseph Barron, Manuel Barron, and Pablo Barron. Surviving are her daughter, Maria Conradt and her husband, David, of Overland Park, Kansas; granddaughter, Nicole Conradt of Overland Park, Kansas; five sisters, Phyllis Garcia and her husband, Rene, of Independence, Missouri, Pablita Sanchez and her husband, Bernard, of Mission, Kansas, Josephine Chavez and her husband, Anthony, of Garland Texas, Maria Barron of Ottawa, Alice Barron of Ottawa; one brother, Raymond Barron, of Pacoima, California; and, many nieces and nephews. Services: A funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church of Ottawa, 10:00am, Saturday March 23, 2002 Officiating Clergy: Fr. Steven Beseau, Celebrant In state: Mrs. Ybarra will lie in state at Dengel & Son Mortuary after1:00pm Friday, where a rosary will be said at 7:30pm followed by a family visitation from 8:00 - 9:00.
