Joyce Carol Gade

Joyce C. Gade, 78, Ottawa, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008. Joyce grew up in North Dakota, moving to Omaha, Nebraska and then to Ottawa, Kansas in 1981. Joyce was a homemaker. She volunteered for seven years for the Cancer Society, canvassing her neighborhood for their annual fundraiser. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Ottawa and, later, of First Baptist Church, also in Ottawa. On January 31, 1964, Joyce was united in marriage with Herbert V. Gade at Fremont, Nebraska. He survives of their home. SERVICES: Memorial services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2008. IN STATE: Cremation is planned.
