Joseph Schwartz

Joseph Richard Schwartz, 79, passed away at his home on Monday, March 3, 2008. He was born Oct. 21, 1928 to Joseph and Mary Frick Schwartz at the same home where he resided all of his life. On Oct 21, 1951 he married Margaret Vollmer. They were married 56 years. While continuing to farm, he was employed as a truck driver for Safeway Foods Inc. for 28 years. While employed he was a member of the Teamsters Union. He then continued to farm until his death. Joseph was a member of the Queen of the Holy Rosary Church at Wea all his life. He was preceded in death by his parents and his three sisters; Mary Frances, Josephine, and Rita. He is survived by his wife Margaret, a son, Terrence of Ellensburg, Washington. And by his daughters; Linda of Shelton, Washington, Vicki, Connie, and Barb of the Kansas City area. He has seven grandchildren and one great grandson.
