Joseph Bubnick

Joseph Paul Bubnick, age 80, of Paola, Kansas died November 28, 2018 at his home. Joseph was born November 16, 1938 at Dunkard Township, Pennsylvania. He was the fifth of five children born to Anton and Mavria Bubnick. Joseph worked at the power plant in Pennsylvania until he retired. He married the love of his life, Geraldine Truitt in 1986. Together they have 7 children. They moved to Kansas in 1987, where Joseph started working as a subcontractor for the railroad until 2001. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings and one great grandson. He is survived by his wife Geraldine of the home; sons Tim Bubnick (Emily), Tom Bubnick (Marion) of OH, Rick Truitt (Luanna) of NM, and Kevin Truitt of Kansas; daughters Sandy Truelove (Gary) of KS, Dawn Hall (Jay) of PA, and Tina Truitt (Robert) of KS; 16 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
