Jorge Rodriguez

Jorge Rodriguez, 57, of Pomona, Kansas passed away on July 30, 2023, at his home.

He was born on Sunday, April 10, 1966, to Santos and Mirta (Martinez) Rodriguez at Weslaco, Texas.

Family will meet with friends at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa Chapel.

Jorge worked as a Vascular Ultrasound Technician for Lifeline.

On Thursday, June 20, 1991, he was united in marriage to Yolanda (Ochoa) Rodriguez. Jorge and Yolanda made their home in Pomona, Kansas. Together, they raised five daughters.

He enjoyed thrifting for anything, especially watches and sunglasses. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren.

Jorge is survived by his loving wife Yolanda of Pomona, Kansas; mother Mirta of Elsa, Texas; siblings Arturo Rodriguez of Elsa, Texas, Berta Rodriguez of Elsa, Texas, and Mere Rodriguez of Elsa, Texas; daughters Veronica (Nuno) Salinas of Lubbock, Texas, Brillana Rodriguez of Pomona, Kansas, Natasha (Leroy) Rodriguez of Pomona, Kansas, Michaela (Michael) Rodriguez of Savannah, Georgia, and Savannah (Payton) Schaefer of Topeka, Kansas; grandchildren Dominic, Alyssa, Kayleb, Valacy, Layla, and Deklan, and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.
