Jolene D. Burnett, age 54, of Ottawa, Kansas, died Friday, January 4, 2013. She was born on Saturday, July 26, 1958, in Ottawa, the daughter of Marvin and Eileen (Kellerman) Roberts. Jolene was a lifelong Franklin County resident living in Ottawa since the early 1980’s. She graduated from Central Heights High School with the class of 1977. On December 4, 1976 Jolene was united in marriage with Randy Burnett in Richmond, Kansas. He survives of the home. Jolene worked for Allied Signal formally known as King Radio of Ottawa from 1977 to 2002 in the Test Department; Wal-Mart Distribution Center from 2002 to 2005 as a Picker; American Eagle from 2005 to 2012 as an Operations Clerk; she was also a waitress for over 20 years at several restaurants on weekends including, The Horseshoe, Country Kitchen and Windmill Café. She was a former member of the Richmond United Methodist Church. She is survived by her: Husband – Randy Burnett of the home Son – Michael D. Burnett and fiancé Kristina Martinek of Ottawa Sister – Gloria Bishop of Ottawa Brother – Ricky W. Roberts and wife Bonnie of Shreveport, Louisiana Brother – John E. Roberts and wife Kathy of Emporia Brother – Dennis W. Roberts and wife LaNita of Ottawa Brother – Roger D. Roberts of Garnett Granddaughter – Cheyanne Burnett of Ottawa Grandson – Dakota Burnett of Ottawa She is preceded in death by her: Parents – Marvin and Eileen Roberts Infant Brother – Leonard J. Roberts SERVICES: Funeral Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church Ottawa, 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 9, 2013. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Burnett at Dengel & Son Mortuary after 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 8, 2013, to the service hour where the family will meet with friends from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. CEMETERY: Interment Richmond Cemetery, Richmond, Kansas MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorial contributions to Cheyanne and Dakota Burnett.
