John Torkelson

John Allen Torkelson Dec. 17, 1983- Nov. 12, 2011 Olathe Medical Center John was born on Dec. 17th, 1983 in Liberal, Ks to Linda (Johnson) and Allen Torkelson. John moved to Paola, KS in 2000 to attend school at Lakemary Center. He graduated from Lakemary Center School in 2003 and transitioned to the adult program. John enjoyed the outdoors and being with his friends. John passed away on Saturday Nov. 12th, 2011 at Olathe Medical Center. John is survived by his parents, Linda and Allen Torkelson of Wichita, KS, his guardian, Amy Rhea, a brother Jimmy, Oklahoma, and a sister Lucy, California. John also leaves behind a large extended family and many friends. In lieu of flowers donations could be sent to Lakemary Center.
