John Franklin Zielsdorf

John F. Zielsdorf, 73, Arkansas City, died Saturday, May 20, 2006, at his home. He was born Nov. 6, 1932, to Clyde F. and Esther M. (Jacoby) Zielsdorf at Wellsville. He attended state schools in Missouri and Kansas during his childhood. He lived at Arkansas City since 1989, when he moved from Winfield, where he had lived for many years. In 1989, he was trained at Twin Rivers Developmental Services, a sheltered workshop in Arkansas City, to do small parts assembly. Survivors include a brother, Richard Zielsdorf, Bella Vista, Ark.; and two sisters, Naomi Burke, Independence, Mo., and Ann Lizer, Garnett. He was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Zielsdorf; and a sister, Ruth Young.
