John David Adams, 68, of Louisburg, Kansas passed away on October 7, 2017 at his home. He was born October 12, 1948 at Stilwell, KS, the son of Francis and Elizabeth Eva (McBrayer) Adams. He was united in marriage to Marialyn Lariba Rapal on February 14, 2007 at Paola, KS. John owned and operated Walnut Creek Fencing Company for over 30 years. He served in the United States Army from 1968 through 1974. He was a helicopter mechanic during the Vietnam War from April 1969 through June 1970 before being honorably discharged. He was a member of the Louisburg Pioneer Bible Baptist Church. John loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was not a materialistic man. He was always there to help others and put them before himself. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son-in-law, Andrew Namanny. Survivors include his wife, Marialyn, of the home; two daughters, Cloudy Namanny and Heather (Patrick) Vincent; one son, Lane Adams; two step-children, R.J. Rapal and Shaira Rapal; five grandchildren, Nathaniel, Mindy and Stacy Namanny and Zoe and Lexi Vincent; two brothers, Charles (Linda) Adams and Mike (Cindy) Adams; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Pioneer Bible Baptist Church, 27000 Metcalf Road, Louisburg, KS with the service following at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. The family suggests contributions to the John D.
