Joe R. Passantino

Joe R. Passantino was born on Thursday, January 16, 1941, in Fulton, Kansas. He was the son of Charlie and Lola (Bartee) Passantino. Joe lived in Wichita and Moran, Kansas. In 1975, he moved to Richmond, Kansas where he made his home until his death on Sunday, November 24, 2013, at the age of seventy-two years. Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Kechi Cemetery, Sedgwick County, Kansas. Joe attended schools in Fulton, Kansas. In 1973, Joe and Jean operated Tack and Hammer, an upholstery business, in Moran and Richmond. They also operated PB Imports in Richmond. He retired in 2008. He is survived by his son, Michael Passantino; step-daughter, Vicki Lee Conner and husband Jim of Brunswick, Maryland; sister, Catherine Richey and husband Kenneth of Wichita; nieces, Brenda Jantz and husband Dwight of Valley Center, Kansas, and Sherri DeJong and husband Tom of St. Charles, Missouri.
