Joan Kay Williams

Joan Kay Williams, 65, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at her home.

Joan was born Wednesday, February 5, 1958 in Ottawa, the daughter of Keith and Patricia (Myers) Rockhold.

She was a lifelong Centropolis and Ottawa resident.

Joan graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1976.

She was united in marriage on June 18, 1988 in Wordan, Kansas, to Larry Williams. He survives of the home.

Joan was employed at Ransom Memorial Hospital from the late 1980s until early 1990s.

She attended bible study at the United Methodist Church of Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas and liked working on the family farm. Joan especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Kenneth and Dale Rockhold.

Survivors include husband Larry; two sons Chris Williams and Michael Williams both of Ottawa; sister Terri Cobb of Blue Springs, Missouri; and two brothers Glenn Rockhold (Tammy) of Pomona, Kansas and Cecil Rockhold (Cheryl) of Centropolis, Kansas.
