Jim A. Wall

Jim Slicktail” Wall age 60 , of Princeton, Kansas died on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Stormont-Vail Regional Medical Center in Topeka, Kansas. He was the son of Erie Earl and Jeraldene Rose (Spaulding) Wall. He was born on Saturday, April 3, 1948, in Ottawa, Kansas. He was a life-long Franklin County resident. Jim attended schools at Princeton and Richmond, Kansas. Jim was a farmer and stockman, working on the family farm with his wife. On his 37th birthday, he began working for Burkdoll Brothers Inc. of Rantoul, Kansas. He retired in 2002 due to health reasons. He attended the weekly livestock sales at the Franklin County and Anderson County sale barns in Ottawa and Garnett. He attended the St. Therese Catholic Church in Richmond, Kansas. Jim was an outdoorsman and was an avid hunter and fisherman. The most important thing in his life was spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters, Jordan and Ruby-Ann. On April 8, 1967 Jim was united in marriage with Judy Gretencord at St. Therese Catholic Church in Richmond, Kansas. She survives of their home. Survivors include: Wife-Judy Wall of Princeton, Kan. Daughter-Karen Marie Milliken and her husband Steve of Waverly, Kan. Son- Kurtis James Wall of Richmond, Kan. Granddaughter-Jordan Milliken of Waverly, Kan. Granddaughter-Ruby-Ann Milliken of Waverly, Kan. He was preceded in death by: Father-Erie Earl Wall Mother-Jeraldene Rose (Spaulding) Wall Brother-Earl Junior Wall SERVICES: Funeral Mass will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church in Richmond, Kansas 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2008. IN STATE: Mr. Wall will lie in state at the Dengel Son Mortuary after 1:00 p.m. Monday to the service hour where the family will meet with friends 7-8 Monday evening.
